Referral partner terms

These terms cover the Good Sheets referral programme for accountants, bookkeepers and similar professionals (“partners”). They sit alongside our terms of sale and privacy notice.

Joining

You sign up with your practice details and confirm your email address; your referral link works from then on. We can pause or close a partner account at any time, for example if these terms aren't followed, and commission on orders that break these terms isn't payable.

What counts as a referral

• An order paid with your referral code entered at checkout. Your link fills it in automatically.
• Only orders placed while your account is active count.
• Orders you place yourself, or that use your own email or practice domain, don't count.

Commission

• You earn 50% of what we receive for each individually sold sheet in a referred order: the amount the client paid for it, less its share of the fee Stripe charged on that payment.
• The Complete Collection and the Bookkeeper Collection don't earn commission.
• If an order is refunded or disputed, the commission on it is reversed.
• Your partner account shows every referred order, the fee and what you earned.

Payment

Your balance is tracked from your first referral. We'll confirm the payout method, timing and any minimum balance to you in writing before the first payout. You're responsible for any tax on what you earn.

Telling your clients

You must tell clients that you earn a commission when they buy through your link or code. Accountancy professional bodies expect members to disclose commissions like this, and it keeps the recommendation honest.

Using our name

You can share your link, code and QR code, and describe our products accurately. Please don't bid on “Good Sheets” in search ads, send unsolicited bulk email using our name, or offer discounts we haven't agreed.

Changes

We can change these terms or end the programme with 30 days' notice by email. Commission already earned under the old terms is honoured.
